From Processed to Empowered

I didn’t always know how to cook like this. My journey from convenience foods to scratch cooking transformed not just my health, but my entire relationship with food. Now I help Tampa families experience that same transformation.

The Wake-Up Call

Years ago, I was living on processed convenience foods. Quick meals, packaged snacks, whatever was easy. I thought I was being efficient, but my body was telling a different story— constant fatigue, digestive issues, and a general feeling that something wasn’t right.

I started learning about single-ingredient foods—the kind our ancestors ate. I dove deep into fermentation, bone broth, homemade electrolytes, and probiotics. Each discovery led to another, and slowly, my long-standing health issues began to disappear.

My curiosity led me through every dietary philosophy—vegan, carnivore, paleo, autoimmune protocol, low-oxalate, and now Mediterranean-style. Each approach taught me something valuable, but the biggest lesson? One way of eating never works for everyone.
